About This Group

Power Company, Waconia’s High Voltage Show Choir features over 40 singer/dancers, 15 band members , and 10 stage crew. This select co-curricular ensemble travels throughout the Midwest and beyond representing Waconia High School competing against the best show choirs in the nation every weekend from early January through April.

Power Company seeks those who are talented, passionate, dedicated to their craft and who are willing to put in the extra time and energy to be the best that they can be every single day. Members of Power Company continue to be strong leaders in our school and community. We are very proud that we are able to accommodate students who are also involved in such activities as football, basketball, swimming, cross country, FCCLA, Jazz Band and many more.

Auditions for Power Company are held in the fall of each year. The season begins at our Fall camp in Mid October where we learn the competitive show spending time bonding and growing as a family. This group meets every day after school from 3:15-6:00 pm in the fall, and Monday & Wednesday 3:15-6:00, and Thursday evenings from 4:30-7:00 pm during the competition season.
