| E. Mani Cadet was born in Miami, Florida, but was raised in Jean-Rebel, Haiti. Where he simmered in the rich tradition of his family’s Haitian culture and that his passion for music, and acting was ignited. “Mani” is a seasoned performer having achieved great acclaim in opera, musical theater and as a concert entertainer. Mani has performed on such world-renowned stages such as the Lyric Opera of Chicago, New York City Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Connecticut Opera, Martinique Opera, Bergenz Opera, The Cotton Club and The Music Theatre of Wichita. Some of Mani’s beloved roles include: “Jazz” in Blitzstein’s opera Regina, “Tamino” in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, “Edgardo” in Lucia di Lammermoor , “Peter Quint” in The Turning of the Screw, “Agwe” from Once on This Island, and “Old Deuteronomy” in CATS. Mani received his formal education from Stetson University and New England Conservatory of Music. Mani has been a voice teacher and vocal coach since 1998. Many of Mani’s students have gone on to have very successful careers. Mani lives in Woodbury with his wife and two children. |
