2008 Starpower Volunteers

We have approximately 400 shifts for volunteers. We need the parents of Power Company, The Current, and Shockwave students to work at least 2 shifts or more. If you have friends or relatives that can help please contact us with that information.

In appreciation for your volunteer hours, if you work 2 shifts (or more) your admission is free.

After you have decided what you would like to volunteer for please contact Janet at 952-442-2161 or E-mail us using the online form found by following the link below. We will do our best to put you in the shift requested. The sooner you volunteer the better your chances of getting the shift you'd like.

Volunteer Information

Check-In-The volunteer check in is located in the video lab in the offices area of the High School. Enter through the office doors, hang your coat in the coat room on the left and follow the paw prints on the floor and volunteer check-in signs to find the video lab. Please check in at least 15-20 minutes early as there may be a line. If you are working two shifts or more (including set up and clean up) I will have your wristband for entrance to the shows in the auditorium or the gym. If your shift’s aren’t until later in the day you can see me earlier to get your wristband so you can go see the shows before your shifts. If you are working one shift only you will need to buy your wristband at the ticket table in the lobby. This year to thank all of the volunteers for helping we will have a sloppy joe lunch and homemade bars in the volunteer check in room.

   

Parking-Please park in the Clearwater parking lot. We have shuttle drivers who can drive you to the High School and back again when you want to go home. We want to save the parking in the High School parking lot for our visiting choirs.
