Introduction
The Shockwave Show Choir is a group of 54 energetic and talented 7th and 8th grade students who love to sing and dance. They perform songs from a variety of musical styles including classics such as “A Little Less Conversation” to present-day hits like “We’re All In This Together.” They are choreographed by Derek Ostrem and directed by Scott Brose. The show band that accompanies the show choir is appropriately named “Microwave.” It includes Max Rickel on drums, Devin Aadland on bass guitar, and Dean Erickson and Charlie Klos on electric guitar. They will be performing at the Waconia Spaghetti Dinner (Jan. 12), Waconia Star Power Competition (Feb. 17), Waconia Show Choir Spectacular (March 23 & 24), and the Shockwave Concert Finale (April 27).
