• Mr. Aaron Olson becomes the director of Vocal Music at Waconia High School
• The Wildcat show choir is established consisting of 24 singers and and a seven piece band
• Carol Meyer is the choreographer
• Girls wear Purple Dresses made by Kathy Spiess and black heels ($56.00)
• Guys wear Black pants, White tux shirt, purple bow tie and cummerbund ($55.00)
• Girls keep the dresses and guys keep the shirts and bow tie and cummerbund
• The competition set includes:
  (Your Love has Lifted Me) Higher and Higher
  If I Loved You
  My Favorite Son
